Not present in 1.1.41.

Also install CSSU.

Works both ways, with the enter button on or off.

Greetings.
That's not an empty message: that's a message with a space.

Hi,

I'm trying to use the push to talk feature with no luck.
I get "Permission denied" error when trying to run "mkdir -p /home/user/.yappari/cache/sounds" command (with no root user)

How can I create this directory and solve this issue?

Thanks,

Bentzy.

what version of yappari you use? Simply download 1.1.41 from repos and you will not have to create directory

ok, try to install any file manager (like mc), exit yappari, delete yappari folder and then launch yappari again

Thanks it worked.

This is for people with the same non working push talk issue:
1. I created a compressed backup to this directory before delete.
2. Yappari created this directory automatically on the fresh clean session and the push talk feature works.
3. Last thing is to decompress the backup file and now all the chats & media is there and also the feature is still working.

Cheers,

I never used it on another phone besides I never had nitdroid on the phone. It was in the process of installing it that these problems started cos I couldn't not complete the process. I can't access the user folders cos apllications I can use to access it doesn't open just like yappari. Is there anyway I can delete the folder via xterminal? Thanks

If your applications don't open I think it's kinda futile to make Yappari work. You should try to make all your phone work.

You can try from terminal: sudo rm -r /home/user/.yappari

And try again with Yappari to see if it does start.

Like I said, install CSSU, which is like an update to your Maemo OS made by the community. Use the search button in this site if you don't know what it is. It's in the Application Manager anyway.

This is what I got after entering the command.

BusyBox v1.10.2 (Debian 3:1.10.2.legal-1osso30+0m5) built-in shell (ash)
Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands.

~ $ sudo rm -r /home/user/.yappari
rm: cannot remove '/home/user/.yappari': No such file or directory
~ $

I'm on the verge of installing CSSU. Thanks
