I meant SVN version.

Hmm, it should be there (just checked it on my N810 with dbus-monitor --session, rev. 913).

Look for path = /de/pycage/mediabox/control, interface = de.pycage.mediabox.control

It ought to work.

Signals are there, but calling a method fails with 'method not found'.

I found the culprit. de.pycage.mediabox was already occupied by the osso-activation-framework and thus the interface methods weren't accessible.
I have changed the osso D-Bus name and the methods can be invoked now. It's already in the SVN, rev 914.

When I am playing songs on this in random mode and want to back up to a previous song, it doesn't seem to go back to the songs that I played. Is this a feature or a bug? Is there a way to go back if I like a song and replay after the next song is playing?

There is no history kept in random mode. You can, however, go to the special "Recent 50" playlist and replay the song.

Thanks, that's a little tough while driving but I'll give it a shot.

Hi,

Should the scan for media pick up FLV files?

The Reason I ask is that at the moment (I realise you have this planned) MediaBox doesn't download Youtube files, but MyTube does. Therefore, I was hoping to download videos with MyTube and play them with MediaBox but it doesn't seem to recognise FLV - is that correct? If so, what format can I convert them to, so that MediaBox detects them?

Thanks in advance

BW

Tom
