vir3us, look closer your remote, its model number is usually written somewhere (left bottom corner, under battery cover, etc.)

Yea i do see BN59-01014A but could'nt find it. Does it have to be exact or can i use a BN59 one? There are so many choices etc. Samsung, TV, television. Cheers

No, you can try similar one. BN59-00940A or BN59-00937A are very similar to yours.

BN59-00940A

Sorry but i cant seem to find them ones either, maybe im going blind. do there come under television? it seems to only go upto BN59-008XXX

Open QtIrreco -> select "Download Remote" -> go to letter "S" -> under Manufacturers find "samsung" -> under Remotes find "BN59-00940A"

Thankyou for your help Kolos got it to work. This has just giving me an idea. Do you know if i can use this program to control my spot lights? as i have a ir remote for them so i can turn it on/off and dim them aswell. Would be amazing. I do have Qtirreco, i went to Download Remote, and i found it there. but when i click it nothing happens, sames happen when i click in any model under samsung .

what could be wrong

hey warren , I was just gonna post here, I have the same issue it seems after PR 1.3 Qtirreco is broken, can someone confirm?

Hellflyer, for some really strange reason QtIrreco no longer works after a PR update. You may find that a purge with apt-get might help but if it doesn't there is only one other alternative that I know of and that is a drastic reflash including the eMMC. I have Qtirreco with PR1.3 working after that.
