@masloff: In the settings, there is the "Open links in external browser" option that needs to be enabled. Then you need to use something like browser switchboard if you want links to open in Firefox instead of MicroB.

@quingu: Is there anything in /home/user/feedingit_widget.log ?

@grog: I don't think I've made any changes that'd affect rotation. Is it working in other apps?

I rebooted & it worked. Should've tried that first before making any noise . TX

downgradeing to 0.8.0-5 makes the widget appear again

Hi Slocan, I have been noticing one other problem these last couple of days, not sure if this is due to the recent updates or something I have not seen before...

Yesterday and today I opened the application and it said it was currently updating, I clicked the stop update several times and it took a minute or two to finally stop updating. The problem here is that I do not have automatic updates turned on in the settings, it is unchecked currently however it appears to still be auto updating.

Did you check both the widget and the main app settings? Otherwise, although i've never seen that, it is possible the desktop has kept a ghost widget (didn't shut one down properly after upgrades), a reboot would clear that possibility.

Add the widget to your homescreen (once it has loaded for the first time, you can remove it).

I had fixed that in 0.8.0-6, but the fix got accidentally reverted in 0.8.0-7. I'll upload a fixed version as soon as possible (most likely tomorrow morning).
