Just tested it now im near a charger, frequency is 125 and cpu at 6.9 so everything seems fine

I believe it stays at 500mhz if you have USB cable connected. But not when using AC charger.

yes i forgot to state im using a wall charger, wonder why it floats at 500 when using usb tho? Anyone know? Thanx

yes,

make sure you install flasher in XP mode.

make sure phone is charged and switched off.

then press U on keyboard and connect USB (keep hold on U) and you will see usb icon on top right.

Then in XP mode click on the top and attach n900 update mode

then follow the flashing details

EDIT: Works sexy now.


I need to test youtube first, because i always have lag in flash videos.

Lets see if i can see any performance.

Open office is snappier. Debian LXDE loads quicker also.

leaving it on a few hungry apps and 2 bbc videos playing for around half an hour.. it was really lagging on 800mhz ( i didnt expect it to play anyway)... but it went on for over 30mins..
was using 100% cpu... and it got a bit warm after a while...

800mhz looks stable ..nothing funny yet....
