30 mins @ 750mhz with "Bounce Evolution", DrNokSNES, Youtube Page, Conky, all running live in the back ground. Slightly laggy but running better than I thought. Time for 800mhz.

just like how a pc would act, apps not opening or randomly closing.

freezing and reboots, crashing. BSOD

when i overclocked my pc too far you soon knew about it mate

glitches in gfx , reboots , crashes , funny cloured screens ,

the only thing with pushing it right too the max ,as close as you can get without it crashing etc , is if you use your n900 heavily id expect there to be some higher wear on the components through heat etc

if you dont push your n900 to the max for every minute of everyday the effect of overclocking will be less noticeable via the lifespan of the handset its only in extreme cases of pushing it to the max all day which could result in things getting worn out quickly

of course it all depends on how efficent the omap3 is under high loads and how hot it gets etc i guess we are the guinea pigs on this one :-)

i would expect the o/s to be optified a bit more in pr1.2 specially as it is such a new o/s , so hopefully this will help cpu consumption as i notice the odd spike when watching conky and cpu useage

Does flashing the kernel mean losing all mods etc..

It's all good. No problems with the flashing.

I feel the need, the need for speed!
