Just updated mine... after the updates, everything back to default factory setting. Now rootfs is 66% used.

Well, now have to reinstall those apps from the extra dev again.

for people that need more space
just
mv /var/cache/apt dir to /home/user/apt-cache
and then symlink it back in
ln -s /home/user/apt-cache apt

and do the same for /var/lib/apt
mv /var/lib/apt dir to /home/user/apt-lib
ln -s /home/user/apt-lib apt

that will clear op some stuff, especially if you have more repositories enabled.
Why those caches and indexes are on rootfs.. if it is just for speed?
i dont notice that, appmanager is slow anyway in everything it does (cpu wise)
and updating with apt-get is just as fast.

only thing i can add is the update came to Dublin at about 11am and I think the batt lasts a little longer now.

Still waiting patiently for the update here in the UK (don't fancy changing to the generic firmware), and had a question for those elsewhere that have updated.
With this talk of the N900 being "snappier" after updating, has anyone noticed an improvement in video capture (not dropping as many frames, etc.)?
Thanks.

I uninstalled Bounce (22MB) and Matrix theme (6.1MB) but still my rootfs still show 40.1MB
