Those sorts of details? Why don't you go to an Apple site, I posted here looking for answers, not fanboyism.

No fanboyism here. I have purchased multiple N900s and love that phone despite obvious Mfe issues. I am just realistic about NOKIA. They have been best to Linux community, and I hope they continue to produce hackable devices. NOKIA needs to pay its bills by producing devices that do the elementary things from the get go. If N9 was meant to do that, then they failed. Again.

What you list above are very minor issues. Apple didnt get to be the most valuable company in the world for nothing. Details, details, details. NOKIA could learn in that department.

Then pop your extensive n900 collection on ebay and buy another iphone, but stop *****ing on here while offering nothing positive.

emm, what "security code nonsense" with MfE are you talking about?

I don't remember why, but there was a decision to not support them at least for sales/PR1.1.

Not a SW developers decision, believe me Right now can change this setting only by using a hack . As far as I remember, now that hack become a bit more complicated because of some new aegis rules (because now you need to get a backup, change the accounts DB and then restore the backup on the device).

Hello.

I don't want to disturb the discussions about sense and nonsense of the Nokia N9 / MfE. I, however, like and appreciate it as a really nice alternative to the other phones / OS.

Just for that, and in order to improve an already good product, I would kindly like to remind you about my problem previously posted.

Cheers

I have a N9 (PR1.1 20.2011.40-4.480.2_PR_480). I have added an MfE account which works without any problem (but one).

The problem I have is, that a "@localhost" CC is added to every email I send out. Other clients of my Debian MTA have no problem whatsoever. The log file of the MTA indicates that it already recieves the localhost CC. Therefore I believe it is a N9 problem.

Has anyone experienced the same problem, or even better, knows how to fix it?

Thanx and cheers

Hello, sorry that missed your post
Can you enable the ActiveSync logs, reproduce this issue and attach logs? Please make sure that Extended logging is enabled:
[ExtendedLog]
Enabled=1

In addition, can you sync your Sent Items folder and copy an extended log part here with something like (or just attach all activesync logs and tell me the subject of the sent message):

Hey Sergey.

Thanxs for you quick reply. After a while I manged to get the logs (I had some problems with the write permissions).

To be straight forward, due to the complexity of the logs and the amount of private informations contained, I would prefer to send you the logs as a private message. Is that possible?

Sorry for the inconvinience,

Cheers

Hey.

Since you cannot attache files to a private message, I am sending you the logs anyway.

For your information:
I am using Zarafa (7.0.4) & Z-Push (1.5.6) & Sendmail ( 8.14.3-9.4). It works fine with the E71 and some other Android Phones. The file "debug.txt_z-push" contains the information Z-Push recieves from the phone (unfortunately for another testmail from the N9; not the one from the N9 logs).

By luck I found the following post: http://z-push.sourceforge.net/phpbb/...php?f=7&t=1507. It seems to be that there might be some encoding problems.

I really appreciate your help.

Thanks for the logs, I'll check them on the 3-4 of Jan. If this is an encoding issue then it might be fixed in PR1.2, because we fixed some issues in the update.

To All: Have a nice New Year! I believe that 2012 preparing something interesting for us
