The best thing of it: it's totally open.
Just like Pandora lol
(im not asking for a hexacore in a gold casing neither, lol)

Edit: I have always been fascinated by mobile technology, which is why I fell in love with linux and the N900. And I would honestly spend the money for an alienware desktop on a mobile tabletphone instead, lol (A desktop is nothing but computer parts anyways...so easy to keep up-to-date with current technology, but a mobile device on the other hands...you stick to the hardware you are handed, you know?)

with the difference that getting a decent device is a lot more easier than three years ago.
Of course we have to wait until a good working, fully open sourced handset version of MeeGo comes out (we don't want to use Android).

... surprise, i disagree. theres no way i could make my device, with the resources i currently have so i agree there. however if i was able to hackjob a table top device (pandora/beagle) may be able to convince someone to say hey this is worth it for a tiny group that would eat it up.

veyron/ps3 status

So N9/ION/N950/U/... will be able to run Meego applications made for arm only or are those made for Intel tablets are supported too ? will those webOS games work ? The N900 can be used to remote control a nuclear bomb using Ir, how good is NFC to replace this function ? Batterylife ? unicorns ?

There, some questions to keep discussion go on.

NFC to remote control a nuclear bomb. That is surely going to blow the competition.

It all depends on the language used to write the apps. QT seems to be all good, GTK might be problematic...depending if somebody (Nokia) releases a good porting tool. Games will always find a way to be cracked.
There! answered, next! lol

Samsung will buy nokia and kick out windows 7 and bring back meego and the n9 as a consumer device. I would like to see balmer's face when he reads about that

This information is top secret and is not confirmed or denied by anyone!
