Everybody is talking here to put samplingrate lower.
This will cost more battery and i think is not needed.
I am trying this for the last week:
Sampling_rate on 700000
Up_threshold on 65
With an minimum off 500mhz.
Sampling_rate and up_threshold are bind together.
What i mean is Every 700ms there will be taken a look how much average CPU usage there is, if it exceeds 65 it will upscale.
Result is a longer battery live, CPU stays more @ 500 mhz or other lower frequencies.
On 500mhz you have already a little bit power is say, so the 700ms you will not notice.
With a 500mhz to whatever mhz I think this is overall better for the CPU also.
Still i can maybe finetune this, because i think 700ms is much but it feels very nice with these settings and overall my experience is better.
Or lower the threshold a little bit more, but i like it already @ this settings.
sorry for my english I think, but i tried.
Please comment because i think this works pretty damn well.

I have a quick quistion
if i go to xterminal
type:
sudo gainroot
(enter)
then;
kernel-config limits 500 1000
in conkey its says that it is 1000Mhz Runing!
is this the good way to go? my englisch is not that good and i don't understand everything in this tread!
btw; i don't care about anny battery uses!
is this the best way to change it? (and easiest)
ohyeah ,if also tried kernel-config load ideal, is it better to keep it that way?

i have followed jakiman's overclocking:
http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php...582#post595582
when i load the ideal frequencies(500 850), it work but after an hour or two, the frequencies are now 125 850. same thing when i set to 250 850. it always goes down to 125.
any ideas guys?
