Using the HP Pro Tablet 608 G1, it runs windows but could probably run some sort of linux. It has a active digatizer and there is an optional keyboard addon.

I suspect that drivers from UEFI up will be your issue; especially the digitizer under Linux. Doesn't mean that it's impossible, I think that it may be a bit more difficult than intended due to the Bay Trail/Cherry Trail chipset issues and how badly Intel supported those even in the Windows environments.
Although, I'd have to say that's one helluva of a concept though and a pretty darn good device that can be found for cheap.

The graphics, bluetooth, wifi, sound are all intel based and the rest is fairly generic components. The only thing I see being an issue is the touch screen and digitizer. The efi isn't an issue due to it being 64 bit windows and 64 bit efi
