Well, there's only a few models in the entire Intex range that have 2GB*, majority seem to have 1GB or less.
Price stated in article (if true) is too high though, needs to come down a bit more IMHO...

I reckon we're going to have TOH compatibility, that's why they've compromised quite heavily in some of the "core spec" areas.
Unfortunate that they've opted to do that, hopefully price will be a bit lower than what the leaks have suggested.

*& most (if not all) are lacking 1 or more major features that the AquaFish has -& vice versa

And 8GB storage? That makes an SD card compulsory.

That's a bit of a long shot, jalyst. It'd put too many constraints on any device if you want it to remain competitive.
Then again, it could happen, we'll know #soon(tm)(c)* :P

Kind of an odd choice, given they've opted to make it 4G capable, would've at least hoped that the mSD they're offering is cable of more than 32GB. In India, I'd assume 8GB built-in would be okay, but they also should've topped out at the best 3G standard instead of 4G. That would've allowed them to lower the price even more, but I dunno, maybe 4G has become quite widespread in some parts of India.

Intex has confirmed that the demo device is not the actual Intex phone. The device will be launched tomorrow and is "more premium". I think the specs circulating on the Internet are of the Jolla(?) demo device seen in the pictures.

Interesting...
Well maybe the info. that's come out so far has been (mostly) incorrect, maybe something that's more powerful (all-up) will be revealed.
If not markedly more powerful all-up, then hopefully it'll at least have a solid "bang for buck" ratio.

If it's more than 1 device, then I reckon it'll still be just the 1 ODM that's doing those devices.
My money's on 1 device, but who knows, I could be wrong on both counts, we'll have to W&S
