frankly, this phone is really love and hate relationship.. i really like this phone compare any other phone i owned before. but then, facing reality, it is just internet tablet with phone feature, a basic one. flaw isnt that many.. just some minor irritation like music plays after hanging up a call, lags if install unnessary stuff.. but to me, mypaint really let me overlook all this minor problems. maybe bcoz i used to dream to have a tablet to draw.. its really nice to draw on this little beast though small screen...
navigation, at least i still can use sygic rather than that crappy ovi which does no good but wasting my time. overall, if i have the chance to keep this, i would.. even use as internet tablet.

Good idea but can you actually teach this kind of skill? Would it actually work?

Being realistic, no. I think if someone wants to learn to draw they'd be better off starting with pencil and paper. I doubt you could write an app that could teach anything meaninful. If it's giving you outlines to colour in and stuff, you aren't really learning to draw. You'd be better off just putting some time in practising freestyle. I guess you could start off trying to copy some paintings or something. But even though it's possible to get some pretty good results in mypaint on the n900 I don't think I'd recommend it as a starting point for beginners!
Who knows though, maybe I'm just old fashioned and only think pencil and paper's the best starting point because that's the way I did it.
