3. Start qgvdial again, log in, make a call.
4. Email me the logs at ~/.qgvdial/qgvdial.log
Hello, thank you for your help.

Where can I email you the log? I can't find an option, and I don't see the email in the qgvdial application.

If you click on my user handle "uvatbc", it should give you an option to send me an email.

I don't have that option for some reason.

Hello,

I wish I knew how to help you, but I'm having problems with this software, not working correctly.

I contacted the developer a while back, he asked that I send him the logs, I did but never heard anything back. Perhaps this project is dead?

Project is not dead. Developer is on vacation!

Actually I've been making a lot of changes to the login code. Expect a big drop in 1-2 weeks.

I have not been able to use this successfully myself

Try "DialCentral". Works great. Have been using it for about a year now. Good luck

Ahem... Good time to release a new build!

@ranadheer: Try the new qgvdial. It has a newly revamped login code.
@nokiman900: Good to see people using DC. You should try qgvdial as well.

Whats new?
I got tired of seeing repeated webkit errors from a ton of users and not being able to figure out what to do with them. Changed everything to use Qt network (qnam) classes.
This should allow for a host of other improvements like multiple API calls being issued at the same time.
But for the moment, I'd be happy if the user login failures go away.

Try it out, tell me what you think.

PS: The symbian and harmattan builds will follow soon.

Downloaded and running on N9. Login had some issues according to logs but it got everything from the inbox and my contacts.

Two things I see....

1) When I originally downloaded it I had 130+ GV entries in my inbox. It downloaded them all. I subsequently went back in an edited my box down to one GV entry. When hitting refresh it does not reflect the new volume of the inbox (@1).

2) I looked for a tutorial, found none. Is there a procedure for entering for GV number somewhere? I'd like for it to show my outgoing number as my GV number.

Thanks.
