Too bad there is no way to change the user agent because some websites (such as a few Google websites) look weird with the N9 user agent.

some websites let you go to the full one (normally a link at the bottom), otherwise use opera mobile, you can change your user agent, although i'm not sure how to set a custom one (default ones are all mobile)

Avg Idle Consumption 51 mA with 2.5G connection active in background. I deleted all the packages for developers mode and disable it. Something is wrong here

Mine was about 200mA, because every time after reboot there is always command "smartsearch" active consuming lots of CPU. I have to kill it by hand.
What is smartsearch? How to kill it? How do you look up what;s running on background?

EDIT: Anyway, I noticed that the average idle power consumption is slowly droping ever since I uninstalled all the dev tools and disable dev mode. Right now it's showing 39mA and dropping

I dont know what "smartsearch" does. I just open the terminal and check the running processes with "top" kommand. "smartsearch" is my top cpu hog and it wont go away. To get rid of it, "killall smartsearch" and then my idle consumption drops to acceptable level (20mA range). Sometimes I have seen other commands hogging cpu, but normally they have gone away after a while.

"at the bottom" full sites isnt a halfway decent alternative to changing user agent tho. very much a hassle and annoying.

Does anybody have a problem with the AccuWeather "widget" on the Events screen? Sometimes it seems it won't update itself automatically anymore and instead of the temperature only the grey AccuWeather icon is shown...

After starting AccuWeather, is is back there in the Events screen, but disappears again one hour later (I guess this is the automatic update schedule...) Only a reboot fixes this for me (until this glitch happens again 1-2 days later...)

Have seen this too. Also for me the twitter updates fails at times. It's enabled but fails to put updates on the event screen. Hope this might be more reliable in PR1.1.

Regarding AccuWeather I intent to use MeeCast instead, and MeeCast can replace AccuWeather on the event screen. See this post: http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...9&postcount=75
