What Alex doesn't understand is that it needs to be about 20% cooler.

Oh come on, now! Nokia can do cool when it wants to, right?

Right? ...come on, now!

MyMoves: system-wide gestures for Harmattan by sandst1

It’s a thing called MyMoves. MyMoves is an attempt to bring configurable
gestures to Harmattan, written in QML/C++. The idea of MyMoves is to be able
to create a gesture, and attach an arbitrary shell command into it.

The current prototype of MyMoves consists of two parts:
- mymoveserver, handles the touch events via XRecord, saves the gestures and performs the recognition
- Configuration UI for adding new gestures and starting/stopping the gesture observation
The server is controlled by the configuration UI via D-Bus commands
How I understand it: draw a gesture = start a specific application

i agree with the options in market n9 is just another ph and shouldnt attract any premium unless it becomes better than n900

That seems a LOT like...

lol

Nokia fanboi blogs have sunk so low that that they quote Minister of European affairs. Maybe they can next find a circus clown to comment on Q3 results.

Granted, Alex needs to find few more billions of tax money for bailing out the bankrupt Mediterranean nations. I hope that he is not counting on 'Nokia's bright future' making any considerable tax donations.

I think someone should develop a keyboard for drunk texting for the n9. big letters and clever auto complete/predictive messaging that makes your pathetic excuse for a chat up seem charming with a hint of cheek. day 1 buy if that was on it. even better it should just have pictures of what you want and it will do the texting for you. I think it should also haggle with the taxi driver and the kebab shop and whoever i'm chatting up.

back to reality now. there's a few things i am hoping they improved over meamo 5, the email client and browsing/using/updating the repo's

As for the reason, very simply, when the N9 does hit the stores there has to be a store open to go get it .

Watch out for the price from asia because for sure it will be the cheapest in the world especially in Thailand, EVEN with the rediculos exchange rate there at the moment.
Believe it was this one

I also took photos if you would like further proof
