The anticipation for the N9 is possibly overrated. The interests in this device compared to the N900 is only twice as much. The N900 statistic you see is very predictable, peeking in the announcement and release. I suspect it will be the same for the N9, so expect a 100% increase in N9 audience compared to Maemo5. (wich is not little, but still.. not enaugh to make a wordwide stir IMHO.)

And so what?
Are you waiting N9 to be huge success, because i'm sure nobody in this thread is.
People are just wanting a phone they like.

You belong to the people who can predict the future, that's great! Thanks for the info. I have a few additional questions:
- Which color will have the highest popularity? Cyan, Magenta or Black?
- What features will have the new Iphone 5?
- Is the earth getting warmer of cooler? If yes, how many degrees?
- Which shares should I buy today if I want to win 300% in less than 1 month?

Sorry for using your precious time with my questions, but that's such a great opportunity for me to meet a prophete on a internet forum!

Thanks again for your info!

I am not waiting for the N9 to become a huge success, I was merely making an estimation wich could possibly contribute to this thread. Keep the optimism mate ^^

And Mac too. I doubt it only supports music/vid/photos.
It may only support that at launch, but contacts/calendar will be added pretty quickly IMO.
And then hopefully Apps shortly after that...
The upside is there 'seems' to be some nice integration with iTunes/iPhoto.
And then of course there's still mass storage mode, which'll prolly end up in: Settings > Accessories > USB

The dreamer part of me is hoping...
But the pragmatist in me is saying: "no chance in hell".

So they are actually trying to compete with iPhone by having itunes sync? Maybe it could lure few people over, but I think Apple fans are even more fanatic than Linux fans.
