Due to manpower bugfixes and possibly small enhancements is about right. However, anything within Fremantle (core former-nokia metapackage) is covered by CSSU and any patches for bugfixes or enhancements are welcomed by the CSSU team. Sources can be found on github as of this week (moved from gitorious)

Current efforts are focused towards porting Fremantle to be used on Neo900 and possibly other devices.

??? try cssu stable
testing is for testing stuff
thumb is based on testing
as of updates cssu is for providing critical updates and bugfixes i.e keeping the system going
like ubuntu lts releses which are supported similarly i.e critical updates and bugfixes

Okay. So you will have to actually be get rid of the closed-source elements in Fremantle to be able to port it to Neo900. That will make CSSU a complete individual OS I guess. And that is what I want actually.

@nokiabot I at first did install CSSU-Stable. But after learning more about CSSU I couldn't help but install the Thumb version.

there you go ! bling bling has its conceunces lol
better you post your problems in detail i.e the purpose of testing
maybe revert to stable via flashing if really needed
i suggest a clean system with backup menu installed then update make a backup and you are set
