i'm not buying an 'ecosystem' i'm not buying an extension to my penis, i'm not buying a sense of superiority over the isheep or aptly named androids.
i'm not buying shares. i'm not buying hugs and hand holding.

It's a PHONE. a piece of hardware and software that have a particular purpose. It has things which appeal to me on top of the functions i expect and need from a phone. it as potential for so many things just like the n900, i like linux even though i really know feck all of the system, i've been following oss since late 90's so i would pick something that is open over closed if it is just as good.

The only reason you guys should be getting this is if for the things you are getting with it. complaining about what your not getting doesn't do anything and *****ing about support etc is pointless. you know the story and the possibilities of what might and might not happen with it. I've never seen so many people say so much yet say so little. nobody's going to comfort you in your grief of having to go with android because "flop" didn't do what you wanted. were not going to try convince you to buy it.

i for one will probably get it once i get a chance to test it or see the general feedback on the email. i will also be keeping my n900 as it's a one of a kind that i probably won't see for years to come if ever.

@jalyst: I just could not help laughing when I read that headline. Skype integration? Reeeeeally now? Frankly, I don't like a "smart" OS when its users have to cheer about skype and external storage support and work around barriers to get native apps running. An app store is not an excuse for crippled out of the box functionality.
