For my own part I would be satisfied with just an official: "There will be device in the N8x0 class in 2009 (delivery in Europe/Germany)". That's all I'd like to see, no specs, details or other fancy stuff...

Peter, ragnar, Quim, take this to heart (and I'm sure you already get it): continual developer interest maintenance is absolutely essential for not just software survival but hardware as well. If very large software/hardware release gaps are allowed to persist, and become the norm, the products will lose momentum and developer interest will shift elsewhere.
After all, what did all these talented guys do before internet tablets?
I'd also like to hear if there's going to be a netbook. But, yes, I'd be happy without any more detail than: yes/no on the phone, yes/no on the N8x0 size tablet, yes/no on a netbook or netbook sized tablet.

A phone is interesting, and a netbook is interesting, but a tablet is what this community was built around, not "maemo".

Why Nokia cannot compete with an iPhone with multitasking and improved camera, copy-paste and even keyboard?
