Is this booting to Fedora or Ubuntu or Other OS's will disable the phone functionality? If it will why do you want to boot to it then if all you can do in that os you can do better in maemo... plus the phone functionality.
no offense dude but i wont bother booting on other os's if the phone function will be disabled. but good work tho

That's why i'm dual-booting - so if i wanted to make a call i would simply boot into maemo or possibly even just launch the phone application via chroot or have an application in fedora that uses phonet if possible.
This is mostly geared towards people who are more interested in using this device as a tablet/MID/ultra mobile computer/hacking device than just a phone
