when I do a apt-get upgrade it is reporting me like 164 packages to update, most of them is system updates. I don't see any updates in app. manager. is this PR1.2 update?

I think it is. Firmware update, which is that 'Maemo 5' shown in the application manager is just a package with dependencies to the system packages. apt-get upgrade is showing the updated system packages for me as well. Qt is in there as well (libqt4-* not maemo5, which should be the case for 4.6 to replace the old 4.5.3).

there is something wrong in app manager, i had about 5 apps to update but i put it off until today, when i looked all updates are now missing and not showing up in UPDATE

was there a "maps package" update?

so did you update? i'd suggest doing it through the application manager though, seems safer.

Yeah, I did not update yet - there's no way of knowing whether that's all of it and if it's safe yet. I'll wait for the application manager notification.

Ill do it? thought it was apt-get update

which i tried and got nuffink, if i need to do sommink else let me know and ill run it.

it should be safe, they don't roll out parts, it's all or nothing. especially if in the app manager you have the maemo5 update available. if not hold a bit, but if it's there, it's definitely it.
