HTC HD7 got the first custom WP7 ROM. And I can uninstall each and every AT&T crapware as I see fit.

Come on, people! We have a whole weekend to speculate on Monday's performance! GO!
Note: You should already know better--but to be clear, this thread and forum does not give out investment advice. We're purely speculating and shooting poop!

With the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) closed at 4:00pm Eastern, Nokia (NYSE:NOK) stock continued its plummet down further past the $5 mark to 4.88 per share at the close, down -0.37 from Friday's close. The $5 mark is significant because--although it might not actually be--it starts to smell a little like penny-stock (ref: Section 3(a)(51) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, 15 U.S.C. 78c(a)(51), and Rule 3a51-1, 17 C.F.R. 240.3a51-1) and I know I've certainly seen the NYSE de-list companies that remained below $5/share for too long. I think Nokia had better start climbing back up quick!

Hang on.. hang on... still gotta click the obligatory THANK button again...
Oh yeah, and me? I think it'll be far sooner than that. I'll guess mid-August somewhere (i.e. in a just few days, two weeks at the latest). PURE guess--not investment advice.

Yes... let's compare apples to apples. Well... Apples and Nokias, anyway.

Just to be fair, since we know individual shares of Apple are far more valuable than Nokia's, let's just measure the overall percentage of losses and gains:

Over the past five trading days:

Over the past year:

Source: http://www.google.com//finance?chdnp...YSE:NOK&ntsp=0

Maybe that's unfair, what with Elop and all the weird stuff recently. But...
Over the past five years?

Did Apple really lose more? Maybe if you only looked at that 5-day chart. It doesn't really look that way. Near as I can tell, Apple's still trending to do better, but Nokia's slide downhill has been pretty consistent for a long time now and it doesn't look like it's only due to recent events in the market. What do you think?

Given Windows Phone 7's history so far, combined with Nokia's... man, I'm just not sure how Nokia's current strategy will manage to pull them out of this trend but whatever they do, I think they had better at LEAST start reversing this trend.
