I'll be in vacation the first week of August, maybe this info may influence your vote...

edit: link to voting thread: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=75156

So, if the competition ends now we are completely alone with the voting and your Competition page OR you have plenty of time to lead us out of this small project?

Are you able to submit something before the weekend?

I'm preparing something, too. I hope I'm able to submit it this friday.
In this case we would be able to finish it without stepping out of the line.

When the voting will already begin one week later and the voting is undecided between "4 weeks" and "no extending" - what about simply extend it a single week until you're back from your vacation?

In this case the "feature freeze" period for the participating applications wouldn't be that long, too.
And perhaps we could fill up the "Fun & Strange" categorie in this timeframe. (I hope so)

NOTE: The voting will end tomorrow! I'm not able to edit the vote to extend it. This date is fixed...
So, stop considering and VOTE NOW!

Hi All,

I have just registered and I am new here. My name is Leon and I am software engineer. Several months ago I started to develop apps and experiment with MeeGo in my spare time.

I have just uploaded location2sms in the Location & Navigation category of the MeeGo coding competition. Hope you like my app! I will be glad to hear your opinion and recommendations about it.

Thanks,
Leon

It was a lot of work for me, but I fixed this problem now finally!

Have a look: Submission #64

Ive added my urban dictionary client in the Fun & Strange section, making it 4 entries there. Just the Desktop Widget section is low now

Marxian has at CuteTube a desktop widget included.

He could perhaps extract the Desktop widget from the normal Application and add it as a seperate submission to the Desktop section?

CuteTube is great but not everyone wants a desktop widget to control the application.

It's already a seperate package. I just didn't bother to add it as a seperate entry, as it depends on the main application.
