I tried soldxk, total dud and was not recognized by the UEFI.

I tried tails and managed to get this far. I can't get past this screen though. I will keep trying.

I have now tried Kali Linux and it is a dud, it can't be booted from efi. I am now trying remix os.

Do try one or all of these:
Fedora
openSUSE
Mageia

Because the distributions you mentioned so far are all based on Debian.

I am going to do a review of the HP Pro Tablet 608 G1 itself, given that there are so few YouTube reviews of it.
