install cpufrequi as it allows the user to easily move between cpu speeds, at the click of a button you can move from 600mhx up to 1ghz no code required.

I can't do this, i install again and again kernel-power and kernel-power-settings, rebooted and try the next steps on x terminal:

sudo gainroot
kernel-config load ideal

gives the error "this kernel version 2.6.28-omap1 is not supported. Please make sure that kernel-power is installed and running......"

so, it doesn't work for me, i have read all the tutorials and instructions and don't find the way to make it work, and i don't know how to solve it....

heeeeelp

That's weird, you have rootsh installed right?

Ok uninstall both kernel and settings, then re-install the kernel, reboot and then install settings, reboot again and then try in terminal

One thing more, i don't know if it is because of that:

i did it:

sudo gainroot
apt-get install --reinstall -y kernel-power kernel-power-flasher

then it flash in 3,47 s, gives the message SIGTERM received
and this:
"Errors were encountered while processing:
account-plugin-salut
telepahy-extras
account-plugin-salut-dbg
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)"

maybe the problem is because of that...i really don't know....

the account plugin salut error is unrelated go here for easy fix for that error (page 2 of thread)

and as i posted before v40 dont work with nitroid/multiboot installed , either install titan v37 nd keep nitroid/multiboot or remove nit/multi and try v40...

to revert back to titan v37 try this

Code:
apt-get install kernel-power-flasher=2.6.28-maemo37 kernel-power=2.6.28-maemo37 kernel-power-modules=2.6.28-maemo37
worked for me

Hi guys and gals!

I already asked this question once but I didn't catch an answer so here I go again:

My problem is that whern running in overclocked mode (Titan's kernel) I can't play any videos. I have to get back to stock speed and videos work again. Has anyone else had this problem and is there a solution for this?

Thanks.

That'll be to do with under-volting it rather than overclocking, and yes, I get this too sometimes.

Do this in terminal;
Code:
root
Code:
kernel-config load default
Code:
kernel-config limits 250 1000
Where 250 is min freq and 1000 is max freq (change as you see fit)

Test that out, if videos work again and your happy with everything:
Code:
kernel-config save myconfig
Saves your config file as 'myconfig', you can specify a path if you wish.

Code:
kernel-config default myconfig
Loads 'myconfig' as default.
