How do I manually load the stock kernel?

Thanks, but this command is to load the default settings for ther kernel-power v40.
Is there a command to load the stock kernel?

Do this in terminal;
Code:
root
Code:
kernel-config load default
Code:
kernel-config limits 250 1000
Where 250 is min freq and 1000 is max freq (change as you see fit)

Test that out, if videos work again and your happy with everything:
Code:
kernel-config save myconfig
Saves your config file as 'myconfig', you can specify a path if you wish.

Code:
kernel-config default myconfig
Loads 'myconfig' as default.
i personally wouldnt do that! aren't you now massively over volting? Correct me if im wrong, but using stock voltages and over clocking will burn out your cpu eventually?!

Try loading lv settings. ulv and ideal didnt work for me either.

Its to do with the DSP, well in my case it was, and when the cpu was downclocking it caused a crash. You can manually fiddle with the settings but i found lv to be perfect at 1Ghz

My problem is that whern running in overclocked mode (Titan's kernel) I can't play any videos. I have to get back to stock speed and videos work again. Has anyone else had this problem and is there a solution for this?

Thanks.
some settings have too low voltages, which result to your problem, and for which is Normal, try switching to LV or higher voltage settings.

No, that would be running stock voltages, i.e. not undervolting or overvolting.

but its confusing because there are no stock voltage settings over 600Mhz so what does it run? is it even possible?!

FREQUENCY Nokia LV ULV XLV ideal
0 MHz 30 30 25 30 30
125 MHz 30 30 25 20 30
250 MHz 38 38 25 30 30
500 MHz 48 48 33 33 30
550 MHz *54* 48 38 38 33
600 MHz 60 *54* 38 38 38
700 MHz 54 45 45 45
750 MHz 54 45 45 45
810 MHz 54 48 48 48
850 MHz 54 48 48 48
900 MHz 54 *54* *54* *54*
950 MHz 54 54 54 54
1000 MHz 60 60 60 60

EDIT - bummer that didnt work.

FREQUENCY Nokia Titan Default LV ULV XLV ideal
0 MHz 30 30 30 25 30 30
125 MHz 30 30 30 25 20 30
250 MHz 38 38 38 25 30 30

600 MHz 60 60 *54* 38 38 38
700 MHz na 60 54 45 45 45
750 MHz na 60 54 45 45 45
810 MHz na 60 54 48 48 48
850 MHz na 60 54 48 48 48
900 MHz na 60 54 *54* *54* *54*
950 MHz na 60 54 54 54 54
1000 MHz na 60 60 60 60 60

Those frequencies arent enabled, so using the stock kernel you cant go over 600mhz.

Don't forget that 'default' under titans kernel isn't the nokia default kernel as overclocking is possible, it just uses nokia default freqs and voltages, over 600mhz it just locks to 60, so at 1Ghz on ideal you are giving your processor just as much power as at 600mhz nokia stock.

You probably have just as much chance frying your processor using the Nokia default kernel.

ahhhh cool. cheers, cleared that up in my head now!

so just all freqs over 600 on default will lock at 60. i understand now!

I still stick with lv is the way to go

and as i posted before v40 dont work with nitroid/multiboot installed , either install titan v37 nd keep nitroid/multiboot or remove nit/multi and try v40...

to revert back to titan v37 try this

Code:
apt-get install kernel-power-flasher=2.6.28-maemo37 kernel-power=2.6.28-maemo37 kernel-power-modules=2.6.28-maemo37
worked for me
Finally, i resolved it, i did what you said, but then the same problem, then i readed again the tutorial of nitdroid and figured out that i didn't have installed the multiboot-power37.tar.gz, i installed it and finally it worked, now i will continue with the overclock steps, thanks a lot!!!
