I had a bit of trouble figuring out the posts on this thread. I too noticed that my PS3 controller would not pair up any more. But I saw from the recent posts that it was due to pc-connectivity app which I had installed the other day as I have now setup QtCreator for maemo dev work.
So I uninstalled that. but still would not pair. But then saw and can confirm the line in the bluetooth main.conf that got commented out was key to solving.
cd /etc/bluetooth
nano main.conf
then change the line
#DisablePlugins = network,input,hal
to
DisablePlugins = network,input,hal
then save and reboot phone. Now I can pair my PS3 controller again.
Just not sure if this is the true fault and correct way to solve?

well it worked for me too. It is strange because its only since rescently that the line was commented out.

I was reading back a few pages and I saw that you couldn't connect your sixaxis to your N900... It kept asking "Accept connection?"
I had the same problem but I just uninstalled sixad and sixaxis and reinstalled them and it's working now..

i don't have a genuine sixaxis but this model : http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.23767
and he don't work...
When a press PS button on Sixaxis controller, dmesg return this :
[...]
input: CSR HIDEngine Keyboard as /class/input/input4
generic-bluetooth 0005:4005:8AF4.0001: input: BLUETOOTH HID v0.00 Keyboard [CSR HIDEngine Keyboard] on xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx
and sixaxis-bin is started
But there are no js0 device in /dev/input/
Anyone to help me ?

these are japan/chinese release but are genuine i got mine yesterday, took less than a week to australia, only bout $60 AUD

first off, I apologize if I am asking this in the wrong thread, but here I see a lot of people connecting two controllers... I wanna ask, how do play emulators with 2 players? I dream of playing Contra with 2 players on the NES or Street Of Rage 2 players on Sega Genesis... Does it depend n the emulator itself? As I see the latest DrNokSnes in extra-testing has a menu option for a 2nd player... Are you guys only able to play multiplayer on SNES? Thanks.
