Oh yes. This is what I meant.
I use Ubuntu Linux desktop and Arch Linux laptop.
http://www.forum.nokia.com/Tools_Doc...atforms/Maemo/ installed fine on both. You don't need anything else - this installer installs the full scratchbox setup.
I would advise going with Debian/Ubuntu though. Arch has an unusual startup script and installer couldn't update these, so it required manual tweaking.
Yes, the current SDK is for PR1.2, but UAE4All does not use any of the updated components, so self built binary works fine on PR1.1.1

Updated Uae4all compatibility list.
@smoku Ive tried installing the sdk on ubuntu 10.04 lts and it just doesnt seem to do anything, I even went through the so called fixes for 10.04 and I have to say they aren't very accurate. I managed to get through most of it but still doesnt seem to work. any help you could give me would be most appreciated

Thanks, I will add the games you mentioned in the message board to the list. However I would appreciate it if you then submit them to the list as normal as I can't add your compatibility results to the database, except under my own login details.
I had never thought it might be useful to have a function where I can submit tests results and have them assigned to someone else, it always assigns to whoever is logged in.

I don't know about the current SDK but the last time I used it you do only have a blank screen. That is merely the "virtual N900 screen" where anything you are testing will output. Its quite confusing when previously I had used the Windows Mobile SDK which runs a fully emulated copy of Windows Mobile.
Smoku, did you install from scratch or just upgrade your older Ubuntu to the latest one? Would explain it if you upgraded as the SDK would already have been installed.
