Its still a pain to use google docs compared to fennec/microb. Is this something that will be fixed or is this a "feature"?

Other then that really enjoying the new features! Thanks a lot!

Hi, great news!

I can't find it in extras-devel. Am I missing something? A direct link to the .deb would be very much appreciated and will make things clear.

Edit: found it here. Apparently I had extras-devel repository without the non-free component...

The JIT is astounding.
Sunspider benchmark on a N810:
microb: you will die of old age before it finishes
tear: 78 s (e=2.8%)
firefox 1.1: 37.7 s (e=6.9%)
opera: 17.5 s (e=10%) (before the JIT it was 45 s)

Couple this with the UI and the browser engine, and Opera is now, by far, the best browser on maemo

I understand your pain. Currently changing user agents is not possible in any version of Opera Mobile 10/10.1. It's on the wishlist though, but I don't have any idea of if/when it might be added. Sorry.

Thanks for pointing this out. I agree that this is the way it should work. Of course, if we have this it's no longer possible to do something else while waiting for a page to load in Opera (which may be the reason it works like it does now, ohrn implemented this so I want to check with him before changing any behavior).

That sucks. Rebooting the device could help, but I don't have any suggestions beyond this. Is this on the N900? Any unusual network settings (offline mode etc) or applications installed?

Known problem that affects Opera Mobile 10/10.1 on all platforms. Using the mobile version of Google Docs in should make it work (although the mobile version is more cumbersome to use). It will probably get fixed eventually but I do not want to make any promises.

See here.

In other words, sometime after people start reading through a thread before reposting questions.
