@fcrochik:
Hey, thanks for your reply.
I use this "http://wiki.maemo.org/Bluetooth_PBAP" app, and my car is a vauxhall - insignia. It goes directly in via bluetooth.
I use this since 14 days. Before there was no way to access the phone via car. (I used a other phone for this, which was only in the car).
I tested this app for 2 days and everything worked fine. I couldn't find any problem. - Do you think this app makes the trouble?
Than I found your app and installed it.
3 days later I tryed call someone in my car and noticed the problem.
..."On the MyContacts application sometimes you will see the behavior you are describing because of how Qt Mobility Contacts sorts contacts without "first" and "last" name (just nickname). You probably would see the same behavior on any other application that uses the same library and doesn't "re-sort" the names."...
So if I ad a lastname to the nicknames, than the problem with the sorting is away?

It is probably on of the "most requested" features but I still haven't figure out a nice way to implement it. I am hoping that the developers of FastSMS, VertSMS or any other alternative-SMS applications would implement the feature and I would just change my contacts to send a DBus signal to them with the list of phone numbers.
I would suggest you (and everybody else interested on this feature) to contact your favorite SMS application's developer and suggest my approach. I will gladly work with any of them to make it happen.

To my knowledge, development of FastSMS has ceased, I tried to contact the developer and didn't get any response. The current version of FastSMS is also not very easy to use.
VertSMS has no T9-replacement, which makes it really not a good option for me. I haven't found any other apps for writing sms on the device - please tell me if you happen to know about them.
I don't know what a DBus signal is, but package overview of VertSMS says that SMS sending was changed from DBus to Qtmobility. Don't know if that might have any impact on your development plans...

qgvdial supports sending SMS across DBus. I'm waiting for Felipe to make Mycontacts use it.
MyContacts does not change ANYTHING of your address book. It has only READ access to your address book and any other information (e.g. groups, ring tones, ...) is stored on a separate file exclusively for MyContacts.
In short there is no way MyContacts was responsible for any changes on the standard "contacts" application.
On the MyContacts application sometimes you will see the behavior you are describing because of how Qt Mobility Contacts sorts contacts without "first" and "last" name (just nickname). You probably would see the same behavior on any other application that uses the same library and doesn't "re-sort" the names.
The fact that MyContacts show the names like this doesn't mean that it changed how your contacts are stored or displayed on any other application.
I am not sure how your "car" access the phones. Have you installed any application for this? How did you setup? Does it use bluetooth?
My maemo work:
