My guess is that since you unzipped it, it lost its execution bit, and dsmetool's rebooting the device.
should suppress dsmetool's reboot, you just need to chmod +x /usr/bin/camera-ui in a root shell after thatCode:flasher-3.5 --enable-rd-mode --set-rd-flags=no-lifeguard-reset

Edit: Weird, ran apt-get --reinstall install linux-kernel-headers and it worked.
