I've made so that the list in the install screen doesn't scroll horizontally. Other than that, there's not a lot I can do; the behavior is standard Qt behavior.

Ok, I've pushed a new version to extras-testing. This includes PalmBible+ support, and numerous interface enhancements. Test it, report any problems, and vote it up if you don't find any issues!

If you already had the latest version installed from extras-devel, you won't be prompted to update just because it moved to extras-testing.

Please excuse me if this was already brought up somewhere - I didn't see it when searching the thread. I've had various versions of Katana installed for months, and haven't been able to make use of it at all. (I've just forgotten to file a bug report >_<) The texts seem to download and install properly, and the app functions correctly, but aside from the chapter and verse numbers, the text is nonexistent. I've tried purging the config and redownloading, as well as other things. One thing that may be worth mentioning is that I used to use Rapier on my N810 about a year and a half ago, and it worked fine; when I noticed this bug using Katana, I tried Rapier on my N810 again (I'd reflashed since the last time I'd had it installed), and had the same problem exactly. I'm a bit confused that no one else seems to have experienced this. I'm using Katana v0.4.2-0 on my N900 right now.
Any ideas?

It might be a silly thing to ask, but have you checked in the NT? What you are describing is what happens when you have a translation opened that doesn't provide any text for that section.

I have seen that happen on occasion, though. Switching translation has always resolved it for me.

I know this translation has the full text, but admittedly I have only tried the one - heck, for all I know it could be corrupted on the server, or something similarly stupid. I'll try your suggestions and let you know.

For those of you who use the new PalmBible+ capability, could you please test the current version and vote it up? It's ready to go as far as I know, but needs more votes to make it into extras.

Thanks!

Hello.

I have a question. Is it possible to make an own translation of the bible?

I am a Tamil Christian and it would be great if there was a tamil version of the bible.

I have a tamil bible for my desktop pc and I am wondering if there is a possibility to do something similar for the N900.

Thanks

I've never looked into doing it, but I presume that the Sword Project provides tools to do so. Keep licensing issues in mind, though - you may not be able to share the converted text.
