Hey folks.
I have a problem with my lock code. I do not remember changing it but the 12345 doesn't work for me. The phone in now stuck on lock code and I can't do anything. I read almost all of this thread, but I can't find any lead to how can I get the "root" as I can't access the terminal?

btw this is how it happened.
I installed GCompris (or what is the exact name) for my little girl to play around some games. She is using it for like a year now and is pretty good in handling the phone. BUT she managed to lock the phone now. She gave it to me with sad look that the phone doesn't work. It was turned off and after I turned it back on I'm stuck on entering the lock code.

***EDIT***
Scratch that... Problem solved... I figured that I actually did change the code myself back then when the phone was new. and after few tries I got the right combo.

uffff

Friends,

I've been helping another member in our local forums. He has correctly tried the full re-flashing procedure but still got the prompt for the Lock Code upon start-up. I can confirm that re-flashing with PR1.2 works in being able to start up your N900 again. And from there, proceed with the tutorials on recovering your Lock Code.

maybe my question not related to this thread, but I don't want to create new thread

Is it possible to change the device autolock timeout? say 1 minute or 30 seconds
Or maybe to change the device lock behaviour to lock the device everytime I turn off the display.
Is this possible?
I *really* hate to leave my N900 unlock for 5 minutes when I was charging it.
