Halfway right. The other half, if Microsoft makes a move on Nokia - beyond strategic alliance, say an OEM level partnership... that would be evidence enough for me to say that his actions and decisions were intentional.

Odd thing... Microsoft is gearing up to debut Windows Phone 7 Mango in Japan. Very same market that Nokia/Vertu just pulled out of recently...

The stock is proof of all the failures done in the previous years. WP will be fine. The N9 will also be fine, it will be a classic, and it will be the only high end device available from Nokia in most of the world due to MS being slow deploying their ecosystem. But S40 will save Nokia.

WP will be back with a vengeance. With Nokia in the game, there will be competition, who produces the best WP phone; Nokia, Samsung or to some extent HTC. That alone is enough to get the ball rolling. Samsung will also be better off with WP than pesky Google.

This is all nonsense. How much did Android sell the first year? But I agree to some extent, either WP/NOK will catch on, or it won't. I definitely believe it will, but it will take some time and WP will never become the "new Android". WP (the ecosystem) is not fully available throughout the intended market before at least a year from today, and world wide it will take even longer. By that time we will see Windows 8 and windows tablets, it will be a very different game altogether than we see today.

I am not much of a fan of yours but i agree with this post in general because now Nokia who are the worlds best hardware manufacturers, have got together with M/S, the push will be astronomical both on the hardware and software side so what we have seen to date on W7 mobiles will drastically change very soon.

Wait and see instead of hating people who talk good of M/S, i am no fan i can assure you but i am not blinded by hate !.
