I concur with this even as of todays date. I had the same behavior, disabled all repos except for Maemo Extras, installed the Canola removaal tool, checked for installed apps, selected Canola beta11 and installed with no issues. Add-ons install now as well.

LOL! WTF? What a way to revive a thread that is over a year and a half old. We've had many other Canola2 threads since this one.
