Maybe at some point somebody took the keyboard apart, and when quickly needed to pack the device away just slammed the keymat back in place so it went upside down.

About the broken pink Lauta backcover, certainly someone can make a new one by 3d-print, based on the measurements.

Do you think it's possible to have the same cover like original same material and Nokia + flash etc...?
Who can do it for me?
What company can print it?

nb. i contact Shapeways and it can't be possible they said me.

I contact dirkvl about 3d model waiting his answer.

I think the material probably is Polycarbonate which is very durable plastic material. I am not sure who can print Polycarbonate.

The flash assembly is fixed to the cover separately, it is not printed.

What did you exactly ask from Shapeways? How can they answer they cannot make it if you have not modelled it first?

This is a nice thread.

However, looking at those pictures makes me a bit sad. "What could have been."

I have a breaked rear housing with me.

do i need to send you rear cover + device?

Let me know
For how much?

thank you

Here is the answer:

Thanks for your email.

Although we ourselves do not have any designers on staff, we do feature members of our community who you could hire on our Hire a Designer page:
https://www.shapeways.com/hire/designer

Again, to be clear, these are not employees of Shapeways. They are designers from our community who we feature on our site. You could look through this list, find a designer who you would like to work with, and reach out to them about your project.

I hope this helps and I wish you much luck and success with your endeavor!

Adela

n950, their answer meant that you have to have a 3d model for the rear housing before they can print it, so they recommended that you contact a designer to make the model. After the model is made they can print it.
