Post the contents of your sources list and full output please only then we can track anything down...

Just use Skeiron Mirror 3 for every step in the first post; I'm sorry more than the first post I can't think of any other way to be even more verbose...

I've disable all the application catalogues and enabled new Skeiron ones as per the instructions. The only repos I have are:

Neither seems to be updating when I type apt-get in X Terminal.
They give me similar kinds of Ign scripts I got from the maemo.nokia.org SSU links that were activated before. It waits for Headers for before each one and then goes onto display the next one. Here is what it looks like:

That error is just a warning not by the mirrors but by official Nokia repos about an expired key; it won't affect your ability to download/use any repos. So you can ignore it in short.

That's strange as I am connected to the internet and can browse, etc... and am even using my device for tethering.

I just tried again and now it gives me this error:

E: Could not get lock var/lib/apt/lists/lock - open (11 Resource temporary unavailable)
E: Unable to lock the list directory

P.S. It's faster for me to type on normal computer than copy and paste on the N900 if the message is short. I will try to copy and paste next time though for the longer messages. Thank you!
