That's one reason I investigated the gesture support.

When you're shopping and you clicked the screen on the n800 to wake it up you'd accidentally tick an item.

For me, the biggest feature I'd like to see is collapsible nested lists. I use a checklist app to pack for travel, and it's really handy to have categories such as "international" that I can collapse when they're not relevant.

It's also useful to have an option where checked items disappear from the list, so you only see the stuff you still need.

Oh, and of course it would be nice to have multiple lists that you can switch between. That should be pretty easy, just open a different file (after saving the checked/unchecked status of the current one).

@gkuenning: You can probably do all that with shopper.
It has categories rather than expand/contract and before each trip you'd go through the list and pick things that needed packing. Then as you pack and tick off you'd see what's left.

Also the "stuff for this trip" == "in the basket" ... and the full view unhides things you said you wanted so you can "double check"

@gkuenning, nested collapsable lists are a bit overkill for this app. The aim is to keep it simple. Multiple lists in some form are certainly in the plans.

@lbt, perhaps you should make an announce thread for shopper (eventhough it's not exactly new since the existing thread is not "official" as such. would be nice to have some screenshots and whatnot.

qlister is very nice and simple. Exactly the way I like.
The only feature what I'd like to have is, that the checked items sort automatically to the bottom of the list.

So, how long will it take for this great application to become available at extras?

@lbt, thanks for the pointer. I had thought that Shopper was only available for the 810. It's just fine for my needs.

Great app. Very simple indeed. Only a couple of suggestions. Making the ticked items sort out to maybe the bottom of the list will be nice especially if the list is quite long. secondly it would be ice if the program arranged the list alphabetically. That way it's easy to find things that we have already stored in our list. Good job men.
