Also see http://neo900.org/shop-walk-through/ "Redeem your voucher"

If the field is actually missing for you, please let us know so we can fix it. Thanks!

[UPDATE] seems under certain conditions for a very few cases the voucher code field doesn't show. We're investigating, meanwhile a logout and re-login should fix it (your cart will stay) - at least it did so far, it seems. Sorry for the inconvenience! When you encounter this problem, please let us know exact details of your procedure, so we can have a closer look what might trigger the problem. Thanks!
[update] we now get reports that every once in a while the ZIP code field is missing too. We found https://www.prestashop.com/forums/to...field-missing/ and are investigating. The suggested fix in there doesn't apply to our shop (or actually already got applied from beginning)

Presumably there will be an announcement when all vouchers have been despatched, but if database is alphabetical I would expect to be one of the last to receive it?

TL;DR: anyone who expects a voucher but still hasn't received one yet should now make some noise. I.E. mailto.contact@neo900.org, provide details when and to which account you paid, from which email or bank, what subject

Just to add: and anybody who thinks s/he made an order on my.neo900.org shop already (more than 4 days ago), but hasn't received an email with "Invoice #IN000XXX" pdf already (today the latest) please visit your account on shop and check your order status. It seems we have several "abandoned carts" that never moved on to checkout. (this also and particularly applies to those who had a voucher to 'pay' the complete order - you should have received a zero-invoice when you actually completed your order)

And a heads-up regarding the notorious "window": we plan to start sourcing of the N900 for complete devices at end of this month, so even when you can't pay yet, you might want to place your order (bank wire transfer then. We'll advice you how to pay per paypal when you don't want to do bank wire transfer but can do paypal only next month)

cheers

Hi Txxxxx!

Since this is a down payment and not shipping any goods yet, there is no tax listed. If only since tax would depend on shipping destination which may still change until we're starting production.
We'll send a correct invoice over the complete amount paid incl applicable taxes with the final order of product. The invoice you received now is basically just a receipt of (down) payment

Thanks for supporting the Neo900 project!

cheers

I didn't have a great experience with online shopping across the world but I can tell you the following :

When I ordered within the EU, I didn't have to pay VAT and the package was dropped directly in my postal box, so I presume that the seller paid VAT in his country (in this case it was Germany).

When I ordered outside the EU, I had to go to the customs representative at the postal office and declare the value of the package (as it didn't have an invoice, which I received by e-mail), and pay the VAT at the declared value.

So I presume that when you will send the packages, if the country of destination is within the EU, you will have to pay the VAT in Germany (at the VAT of the buyer's country starting from January 2015 if I recall) and the buyer will receive the package in his postal box ; if the country of destination is outside the EU then you won't pay VAT in Germany and the buyer will have to go to customs and declare the value (or present the invoice) and pay VAT there.

This is simply my experience and my understanding of how things work.
