I called Nokia USA to order one, but it is not in their system, either. I guess one would have to get it from the UK or somewhere else?
I also got three USB cables - seemingly original Nokia (look identical) for less than $10 including carriage.

is the ca-146 safe to use with car chargers? i thought i read that the ca-146 is only to be used with ac adapters

The N900 box come completely closed with a seal of nokia and this box is missing the: Nokia charger adaptor (CA-146C).
On Maemo website, we have:
Nokia N900 (checked)
Nokia Battery (BL-5J) (checked)
Nokia High Efficiency Charger (AC-10) (checked)
Nokia Stereo Headset (WH-205) (checked)
Video out cable (CA-75U) (checked)
Nokia charger adaptor (CA-146C) (missing)
Cleaning cloth (checked)

Where do you get yours? My understanding is that the packing list of US N900 doesn't include it.
