Hmm, just thinking, atm a small amount of url is seen anyways, pressing opens it bigger, so is there any efficiency on that?
Compared to have a placeholder text or the domain and then the reload-button?

It's good to see where you are... Plus you can scroll the URL text (quite useful).

yeah, good to see where u r
but basicly, cant see it without the scrolling. the scrolling anyway is an extra move, kind-of-like pressing the address bar.

My point being -> Its purpose is to see something relevant but since the space for it even now is too small, the purpose doesnt necessarily get fulfilled without "extra moves", thus better to give place for something that does not require "extra moves".

Haha, very dramatic :P

@llelectronics

I made you an alternative icon for Webcat. Feel free to use it if you want - versions in 86px and 250px included (higher resulotion available).

I like it! Do you have an svg of it? I'm trying to learn to draw in vector (I'm mainly a gimp user) and I'd like to look "under the hood" of your image

I attach my take on a similar concept, I already showed it to llelectronics some days ago. As you can see, I suck at colours

Perfect!
Maybe not my call, but if it were up to me there would be no need to posted any more icons.

Reminds me of the eye of Sauron
My I ask if you can share the svg source file?
I'd like to be able to create an image with that depth and colour balance, I'm a beginner with vector imaging and all I do is horribly flat.

Nice Icons. Thank you all
I also got an merge request for an icon and merged it. So the current icon in git looks like this: https://github.com/llelectronics/web...our-webcat.png
Maybe we can modify that and insert/overlay the yellow eye of Morpog to that.
@Morpog do you have an SVG of that icon ?

More importantly I am still looking into the code thing and figured out where the cookies are saved.
If someone has knowledge about Qnetworkaccessmanager and qml webview handling of cookies that would be really really helpful as to me this is all new (I got the qt4 stuff working back in the days but qt5 changed a lot as it seems)
