you need to install the package ogg-support-lightmediascanner,
I looked around and we do have Canola2-ogg package
Some videos are played with OSSO media player, while others are played with MPlayer. Please confirm which one is in use, maybe you prefer to use MPlayer for them, in this case just change atabake's config.

Oooh, the 60 Second Science podcast works now. (Episodes are downloaded instead of Canola just choking on them). How exciting
It did something a bit strange, though. When I first chose to download an episode, the progress bar appeared but didn't move. (Generating a bit of cursing at the fragmented state of online media distribution). I left that screen fairly quickly and went to the Current Downloads view. There was the episode, but with no download progress; the button to the right was the button to start downloading! I hit that button and it downloaded properly.
It hasn't happened again, but something is strange there.
Has anything been done about those podcasts whose downloaded files all have the same name? If my memory is working, they used to overwrite each other.
Speaking of ideas, somebody make me a voice recorder plugin!

That was definitely not intentional. What exactly is going on? No thumbnails at all are being generated?

Inside the directory '/home/user/.atabake/', there is a file called config which specifies which atakabe backend should be used for each filetype.

First, a small problem to install with the package manager, a conflict with lightmediascanner-ogg.
