why...Quebec is full of "eh-er's"
Montreal is cosmo, but I love the buildings in Quebec City...
yeah...
Central Canada there..is beautiful in the countryside...
Ontario and Quebec ...out of the cities and far away it is luverly...
There is a lifetime of exploration in Just one of the provinces back there....
If one likes walking, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, snow shoeing , or cross country skiing..
I should know..
I spent 30 years back there before moving out to the West Coast hinterland..
And I have spent most of that time...daily exploring ..passion of mine, what is over the next hill, around the next river bend...
where the signs of people are few...
and I barely scratched the surface...
Been to every Province...and done some hiking ...summer and winter fun..and I need a good 20 to 40 lifetimes to see everything this country has....
Been through every state too...shy of Hawaii and Puerto Rico...
back before the country descended into madness..
back when it was relatively safe to wander around...in the late 70's and early 80's
Been to quite a few other places too...
But in the end...the fence-less wilderness outside the towns limits ...that stretch from the eastern side of Van Isle to the western shore.....with only woods, mountains and rivers and no sign of humanity...
that I love...to hike...
and I love my little slice of peace and heaven here...
Hm...
So what dd you think of Montreal?
I found like most beautiful cities (and canada has quite a few)
from the late spring to fall...it is always lovely...But cities in winter are bitter here...
Oh there are other ways of recognizing Canadians...

it is a wee bit of an exaggeration...
but it sums it up well.
