I vote 3. Fellfrosch. Because local beer is my weak spot.

Well...
Spring is in the air here...
At the house the noise is deafening at night...
From the lake below...
It is frogs croaking so loud all at once...
And...
The turkeys have become a hazard.
I almost was covered in turkey on the way home yesterday morning.
A flock of them running and parading and prancing and showing off ...
The males going nuts...wings out...colours ...feathers splayed...
With a tremendous noise of " GOBBLE! GOBBLE! GOBBLEGOBBLEGOBBLE!!!" ...doing their ritual of intimidation of the other males and attracting the females...
They were everywhere!

My life flashed before my eyes...
And I could see my obituary and the news headline...
" He died as he lived ...with a turkey up his ***..."

Wild turkeys everywhere....
After I plowed through them...on my electric motorcycle ....and they scattered ...
I stopped turned and took a couple of pictures of the only one left ...
He was still doing his dance...
I think it was for me...
Either he saw me as a rival...
Or he thought I looked cute.

And he was a small one.
Most of them are above 40 pounds of bird a piece.

They are not indigenous to the west coast...
But between the wild turkeys and the wild peacocks...
Running roughshod over everyone...
Well...
With no predators...and a mild year round climate...
They multiply rapidly...
And they are fearless....
We have had to put up turkey crossing signs everywhere...
You have to shoo them off the road...
Thick as ticks.
It would be easy to walk one home to the roaster...
Mmmm....turrrkeeeey...
They declared the gabriola wild turkey as "officially on the menu" ...and are a part of the hunting season...
To try to bring their population under control...

Is the fooxl picture a local attraction or was it from a trip to Austria? If it is local then I vote that cause I would really love to be in that picture. If it is not local then my vote goes to eson. Just would like you would find some convenient use to that small cottage. It really deserves it.

Well, unofficially it is my garden shed. I store a small amount of older garden tools in there. Just enough to make it feel useful.

Ahhhhh .... voting time again:

I think @endsormas is late and two pics are not allowed. Otherwise my vote would go to him. Just because turkey is a perfect fitting for a good beer.

But for the told reasons my vote has to go to someone elese. And this time I vote for @robthebold Can't tell you why. For me it's just a nice and inviting picture for a relaxing evening stroll.

I vote for no. 7 fooxl. I think for the snow being used for goodness instead of evil. And the pretty blue sky.

I also was especially fond of all the green grass and moss and willow in mosen's entry.

(I realize I forgot to give the specifics of my pic. It is the stock Sailfish camera running on Sailfish X, no additional processing.)

Thanks to all for sharing your local attractions.

I always read robthebold as rothlebod and think is as an dungeons and dragons character, a small creature with stealing and tinkering skills.
