Thanks to this thread I installed Xournal today and it's working fine including exporting a PDF file. Very slick. Thanks again.

Actually, without them there may be issues (in fact, it was formerly quitting because the X-Osso-Service name and the Name clause in the D-Bus service file were different!).
Usually when it does crash ?
By the way, probably those crashes are due to the Xournal code itself, not to the patches made for the port, but I might be wrong.
