Thanks Vlad,
I made the change, but it worked for a little, then I lost the NOW data again.
Even with the changed regional setting the xterm def for date remains the same.

It's not broken on my N800. It says there's a thunderstorm coming soon! The symbol is a black cloud with threatening thunder bolts, pretty scary looking.
Here in Agoura Hills, CA, where thunderstorms are rare, but it's been raining for a few days...

Hi Vlad,
after changing to LA and back to New York, omweather seems to work fine. Also the data in xterm are correct, as they show New York as the city and EST as the local time.

Try next: Change Home city for example to Los Angeles. Reboot the device. Bring back Home city to New York and reboot device.
