That's the easiest request of them all!
Actually Id like to see if the Backspace button could go where the Cancel Button is.

You may doubt it but I know from using DTMF tones they work when I use it with GC Mobile call back feature and my Gizmo account. Once again the problem is that DTMF tones do not work after a call is dialed with the GC dialer, but works fine it the call is dialed via GC mobile web page. Thank you.

The only way to do it is via a tone generator since they only strip the in-band dtmf tones. Some clients allow you to set up "in-band" unfortunately then you can't press 1 to receive calls through GC your inbound number, but you can use DTMF on call back calls.

They know about the issue and are doing nothing to fix it.

as for n810, can you confirm your settings under m.grandcentral.com?
I do have the right settings at m.grandcental.com, and I can make the call by the old way, hit the name at the contact list, the name and the number show up, hit the number and Gimzo ring. I also rebooted, and left the web page open, nothing works. Any help?

The Nokia Internet Tablet IS now a PHONE.
I guess I must have missed something. I've installed this program, and while it does work, it doesn't work the way I expected, as a phone. Instead, I get the dialer, which in turn calls my cell phone and places the call using the cell phone.

This is ok, but the way I've got it configured, it doesn't use the N810 as the actual phone, just a graphical interface for using GC with my cell.

Now, I have a Gizmo number but I am not sure how or if the Gizmo number is actually needed to use the tablet as the phone.

Can you please tell me how you have the dialer configured?

In your GrandCentral Mobile web page Settings do you have your Gizmo number as your Mobile Number? If not try and see if that works for you.

Addendum to that... you may have to configure through the browser and quit the browser for the cookies to be properly updated.

Thanks for the tip, heavyt! This worked!! I am delighted. For the first time, I am able to use my IT as a 'phone'! To quote HJS, "Woo Hoo"!

Thanks brontide. I did configure the cookies through the browser but didn't have to quit it for it to work. I just kept the browser window open and re-submitted the form till I got the settings right.
