Man . . . talk about bad packaging. :\
I am so sorry about this whole mess!!!

But, I don't even understand where scratchbox came from. It was NEVER in anything I used. It just popped up in the deb all by itself! The makefile and setup,py I wrote never even used the word scratchbox in them.

Those are the only two files I can think of that would effect the packaging...

Is it something I did (so that I may fix it in the future), or something with dpkg?

Again, I am very, very sorry about all this.

The pyano / pydrum packages are installing under the /scratchbox directory, which causes the tablet-browser-daemon to ignore one of it's variables.

Solution: remove pyano / pydrum, reboot - problem solved.

If you still want pyano / pydrum to work we'll need to move it's binaries, or ask Aisu to repackage so we don't have to move it ourselves.
PyAno and PyDrum were not installing under scratchbox. PyAno 1.1 somehow got a /scratchbox in the .deb. (PyDrum is based off 1.1)

The binaries are in /usr/bin, and any files they needed were in /usr/share/pyano. I never used scratchbox for any files. I still don't know why it was there...

They have both been repackaged...

Rest easy that your response time is many orders of magnitude faster than Nokia's. And, hey, you might've exposed an interesting bug in the process!

Yeah, no real harm done, just a little time saying 'huh?' (and explaining to my girlfriend how I'd broken her tablet again )

Yeah, this way of checking for the SDK could have had severe and hard to catch consequences
