Recall what happened when someone on this forum tempted us to buy a Pandora. That should help you fight the temptation.

i think this is a somewhat bigger operation then the pandora

and i still would like to get a pandora, but im happy to wait until they have a stockpile of them...

Are you referring to my question about the zoom +/- and switchview keys here? If so, my understanding is that these functions were contemplated as being implemented in the OS or graphics, and not as a configurable function in an app.

They're gpiokeys or something, so should be trivial to make work (they don't currently, probably some other keycode than the F-buttons).

I have received their kernel sources and a firmware maker, so, we can pretty much do what we need to do.

My understanding of these things is sketchy but is this not a huge deal?

Or has Nokia made an equivalent gesture with the N8*0? And so it is normal practice to do so?
